KHANEWAL, Jul 29 (APP):Local MPA, Rana Saleem Ahmad said creation of the Kisan Sahulat Centre (KSC) was aimed at helping out farmers through the best possible measures.
While addressing to farmers during his visit to the Sahulat Centre here Monday, he said first and foremost objective of the Facilitation Centre was to provide farmers loans to meet their basic agriculture needs possibly on reduced interest rates.
He advised the growers to get maximum benefits through the Centre, a novel step of Punjab government.
Moreover, he said the expert staff of agriculture was present every time to facilitate farmers particularly for reaping bumper crops on the agriculture land.
He reiterated that agriculture was backbone of the economy adding that the government was pursuing all-out measures to strengthen that backbone.
Deputy Director, Assistant Director of Agriculture Department and Pest Warning Staff were present on the occasion.
