ISLAMABAD, Jul 13 (APP):Chairman, Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, conducted a comprehensive tour of various ongoing projects across the city on Saturday, accompanied by senior officers from relevant formations.
Kicking off his visit at the Islamabad Model Jail, Chairman Randhawa underscored the urgency of completing the construction work at the earliest.
He directed the CDA’s engineering wing to closely monitor the progress to ensure timely delivery.
In Sector C-16, the Chairman expressed satisfaction with the development progress in C-16/3 and C-16/4.
He addressed the issue of built properties in the sector, instructing immediate resolution and promising that rehabilitation benefits for affected residents would be provided directly to their doorsteps through a one-window operation.
At Sector C-14, Chairman Randhawa set a clear deadline of September 20 for the completion of the road network, drainage, and sewerage systems.
He emphasized the necessity of maintaining high-quality standards and warned of strict action against consultants for any negligence in quality control.
Addressing environmental concerns, Chairman Randhawa mandated an immediate halt to construction activities within and around the Margalla Hills National Park, aiming to preserve the natural landscape.
During his visit to the Park Road expansion project, Chairman Randhawa expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of work and urged for its swift completion.
He instructed that all sections of the project be finished promptly to avoid further delays.
Concluding his tour at the Stray Dog Population Control Center, the Chairman directed staff to improve care for the dogs, particularly in light of the summer weather.
He emphasized enhancing the ventilation and cleaning systems to ensure the well-being of the animals.
