New Centralized Complaint Management System to facilitate BISP beneficiaries


ISLAMABAD, Aug 08 (APP): The new Centralized Complaint Management System developed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) will facilitate beneficiaries of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to redress their complaints efficiently.
This was shared during a meeting between Secretary BISP Amer Ali Ahmad with the technical team of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) here Thursday.
The ADB team presented a detailed briefing to Secretary BISP on the development of a new iGMS Centralized Complaint Management System.
During the briefing, the ADB team informed the Secretary that the newly developed system aimed to enhance the redressal process for BISP beneficiaries by generating a unique ID/Tracking number, allowing users to monitor and track the entire life cycle of their complaints.
The Secretary BISP emphasized the importance of an efficient complaint reporting mechanism and suggested the introduction of a simple complaint form specifically for BISP beneficiaries. He stressed that this would make the system more accessible and user-friendly.
The ADB technical team announced that testing of the system was scheduled for October 2024, with the pilot program expected to launch in December 2024. Additionally, a test trial of the new Complaint Management System will begin in November 2024, they said.
The Secretary BISP requested the ADB team to advance the pilot launch to September 2024 and sought their continued technical and technological support to ensure the smooth functioning of the system.
The ADB team assured that they would provide comprehensive technical training to the BISP IT team to facilitate a successful transition to the new system.
