ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad on Tuesday approved a seven-day physical remand of the arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Coordinator Ahmed Waqas Janjua.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case.
During the hearing, Ahmed Waqas Janjua was presented before the court who was arrested in a case registered in police station CTD.
The court was informed that explosive materials were found with Janjua at the time of his arrest. The prosecution requested his physical remand to further investigate his connections with banned organizations and recover more evidence.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra granted the remand, and adjourned the hearing till July 29.
