National Voluntary Corps to be set up soon: Rana Mashhood


ISLAMABAD, Jul 11 (APP):Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Programme (PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that the government would set up the National Volunteer Corps soon and committed to empowering youth through several revolutionary initiatives.
Talking to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader and former senator Nihal Hashmi here at his office, he said that a National Youth Council is being formed to include the youth in the policy-making, development and governance engagements.
Mashhood said that Pakistan has a talented youth and has a pivotal role in advancing the country towards fast-paced development.
“We are dedicated to preparing our youth to excel in diverse fields, from technology-driven industries to traditional crafts. This inclusive approach will enable them to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s socio-economic development.”
On the occasion, Nihal lauded the selection of Rana Mashhood Khan as Chairman of PMYP and expressed hope that Mashhood would utilize his all capabilities to provide a better future to the youth of the country.
