ISLAMABAD, Jul 24 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad, Syed Ali Raza, on Wednesday said that the Islamabad Police is committed to resolving public issues on priority.
According to the details, special directives have been issued by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Ali Rizvi for the solution of masses issues at their doorsteps.
During a Khuli Kachehri held at his office, the DIG listened to complaints from citizens and said strict action would be taken against any officials involved in bribery or corruption, adopting a zero-tolerance policy in this regard. Senior police officers were also present on this occasion.
At the Khuli Kachehri, the DIG marked applications from citizens to the concerned officers for timely and merit-based action. He directed the officers to send reports to his office within the given time frame.
He affirmed that the Islamabad Police would leave no stone unturned in securing the lives and property of the citizens. “Such interactions will continue in the future to provide maximum relief to the citizens,” he added.
He further said that interactions during Khuli Kachehris would help promote friendly policing and ensure self-accountability and the immediate resolution of citizens’ problems. “The protection of life, property, and self-respect of citizens comes first,” he maintained.
