ISLAMABAD, July 11 (APP): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has sustained its airdrop operations to deliver quality food aid to those affected in the Gaza Strip, in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
A recent food airdrop operation was conducted in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, in partnership with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army in a bid to break the blockade imposed by Israeli occupation forces on the land border crossings.
This initiative extends the commitment of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to deliver urgent humanitarian and relief aid to the affected areas in the Gaza Strip by all possible means.
It also forms part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people during the ongoing humanitarian crisis, as part of Saudi Arabia’s broader campaign to aid the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
