ISLAMABAD, Jul 2 (APP):On the instruction of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Margalla, Tree Plantation Drive Open House Session will be organised at Jinnah Convention Center from 4 pm to 6 pm on July 4.
According to press release, Randhawa directed that all stakeholders, including the corporate sector, volunteers, public and educational institutions, should be invited to the ‘Margalla Tree Drive Open House Session’ so that they could participate in the plantation campaign to be held in the first week of July.
Chairman CDA said that the purpose of holding the open house session is to involve all the stakeholders in ensuring the safety of Margalla hills. In the session, measures will be taken to deal with the damages caused by the fire in Margalla Hills.
This campaign aim to ensure the protection of wildlife and flora in the Margalla Hills and to ensure measures for its enhancement, he added.
In this regard the Corporate sector, other stakeholders along with CDA will cooperate in tree plantation drive, and will also discussed in order to make the capital clean and green.
