ISLAMABAD, Jul 25 (APP):Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday resumed death and birth registration services suspended by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) due to outstanding dues.
CDA chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa timely intervention into the matter led to restoration of vital services in the capital.
Randhawa, upon receiving notice of the suspension of services contacted Chairman NADRA to resolve the issue.
Following his instructions, the Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI) immediately settled all outstanding payments to NADRA, leading to the restoration of services.
To prevent future disruptions, Chief Commissioner Randhawa directed authorities to take permanent measures to ensure timely payment of NADRA’s dues.
He emphasized that no shortcomings would be tolerated in facilities provided to Islamabad’s citizens.
