ISLAMABAD, Jul 10 (APP): The National Assembly on Wednesday offered prayer for the elevation of the ranks of the Pakistan Army officers and jawans in the life hereafter who embraced martyrdom while gallantly fighting terrorists in North and South Waziristan including Captain Muhammad Osama Bin Arshad Shaheed.
The prayer was led by Member National Assembly (MNA), Tariq Fazl Chaudhry that also included prayers for other died in different incidents across the country.
Earlier, the National Assembly session commenced almost half an hour late with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran to seek sincere forgiveness from the Almighty exhorting about the bounties to be bestowed upon the Blessed in the hereafter and the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) advocating about excessive of seeking forgiveness from the Almighty.
